A place to discuss the AI initiative and the AI module. Come to learn how to use it and our plans for it or bring us ideas of what you’d like to see in it, how you’d like to contribute or build on top of it.

Wat do you need to know about Mautic as a developer? What is the Mautic community, what is the Mautic product all about, how to contribute, and so on.

First (depending on audience) we'll do a quick intro to the Custom Elements module and the current ecosystem of decoupled solutions (JSON APIs) built around it, for context.

What is WissKI? 

WissKI (Scientific Communication Infrastructure/ Wissenschaftliche  Kommunikationsinfrastruktur) is a set of modules to combine Drupal's content  management features with linked open data and semantic web technologies to a  scientific research environment.

Drupal thrives on community contributions in the form of patches and documentation to both contributed modules and core. This helps the project move forward and stay relevant.
Not everyone who works on open source projects is a senior developer. Smaller tasks help people increase confidence and gain experience, which, in turn, leads to more contributions. Code is very important, but so are all the other parts. Contributing back to Drupal helps folks to become better developers. A more polished Drupal leads to a better overall experience.
But how does one become a contributor?

In Drupal there is a philosophy of having only one module to fit most cases. Though this is mostly actually happening, there are still various ways of solving the same problem.

In this session, I am going to present some problems and the various ways someone may solve them using different core or contrib modules or technologies.

We are going to take a glimpse of the features each similar module has: starting from Panels / Context and Display Suite / Layout Builder reaching REST / JSON:API and more.

Drupal Bulgaria Association is a new (created in 2024) non-profit that aims to promote Drupal and open source in Bulgaria.

We'd like to be as open as possible in our decisions.

At this meeting, we'd like to discuss with all interested sides the following topics:

• Organizing structure
• Different types of membership and member fees
• Roadmap for 2024/2025

With its strong development community, good documentation, support for major operating systems, extendable architecture and not locked to any hosting or development agency, ddev is quickly becoming de-facto standard for the local development of Drupal (and not only Drupal) projects.
